Hi guys, My name's Siân (or more affectionately, Shaz), I'm a 20 year old photographer from the UK. I started this blog a couple of months ago so that I could share tips, patterns, and discussion on crochet and amigurumi, as it's something that I'm very passionate about and want to share with the world. I've crocheted since 2005, and started out by working on simple spiral blankets. This continued for a couple of years, until 2007, when I started to tire of going round and round in circles, and only making things I would never really use or enjoy. At this point I decided to look online for patterns, and bought a couple of "learning crochet" books, but didn't have much joy. I then stumbled across amigurumi, and fell completely in love. Ever since then, I've quite literally been hooked. I started writing my own patterns in late 2008, and am trying to cover a wide range of different items. I'm constantly working on new stuff, but am still working on patterns designed by other people. I tend to make videos, showing off each item that I make. I put them on YouTube and then link back to my blog. I've been doing this since I started designing, and it's gained quite a good following so far. If you're a YouTube user, please subscribe!
