My goodness, it's been two years since I updated this blog. I'm so, so sorry.
I guess I went through a really stale period with my crochet. I've been working on it but just couldn't be bothered to upload/update anything and I'm really sorry for that. I fully intend to get back into the swing of things now, and have a real taste for new projects at the moment, so watch this space!
I finished my most recent project, yesterday afternoon.
She is a
Dawn Toussaint pattern (Laurel) that I have named Poppy. Made for my neighbour's friend, of the same name =) Tried to keep in with the floral theme in her colouring, to relate to her name. Poppy is a lovely warm yellow, with green eyes, red shoes, and a handmade red dress. She also has little red freckles on her cheeks...
This particular project has taken me absolutely ages...like you wouldn't even believe. I started a new job back in February, and I now work permanent nights, so it's difficult finding time to do my crochet. Some of shifts are well lit enough that I can take it with me, and stitch while I'm at work, but it's not possible at others unfortunately. I am definitely going through an eager stitching phase though, and thoroughly enjoying myself. Definitely got the bug back!
