After posting this afternoon, I have decided to move my blog to somewhere I am more likely to update. I'm keeping this place open because of the patterns uploaded here, but from now on you can find me on blogspot.

My goodness, it's been two years since I updated this blog. I'm so, so sorry.

I guess I went through a really stale period with my crochet. I've been working on it but just couldn't be bothered to upload/update anything and I'm really sorry for that. I fully intend to get back into the swing of things now, and have a real taste for new projects at the moment, so watch this space!

I finished my most recent project, yesterday afternoon.


She is a Dawn Toussaint pattern (Laurel) that I have named Poppy. Made for my neighbour's friend, of the same name =) Tried to keep in with the floral theme in her colouring, to relate to her name. Poppy is a lovely warm yellow, with green eyes, red shoes, and a handmade red dress. She also has little red freckles on her cheeks...


This particular project has taken me absolutely ages...like you wouldn't even believe. I started a new job back in February, and I now work permanent nights, so it's difficult finding time to do my crochet. Some of shifts are well lit enough that I can take it with me, and stitch while I'm at work, but it's not possible at others unfortunately. I am definitely going through an eager stitching phase though, and thoroughly enjoying myself. Definitely got the bug back!

Sorry it's been such a long time since my last entry. I've been extremely busy with work and my exhibition and I really didn't have much time to crochet. However, I'm back now and better than ever; hoping to share loads of new videos and projects with you all.

My most recent project is this gorgeous bunny...


I finished him a few weeks ago. He is a present for my former Manager's new Grandchild; Ethan, who was born on 15th September 2009 =) I used Sirdar Snowflake Chunky yarn, in the colour Rainbow Spray, and I absolutely love it. I'll really struggle sending it, as I want to keep him for myself xD I'm making another bunny at the moment for my cousin, as he is about to become a Dad for the first time! Oh, I used this pattern from Planet June =)

Going to make a video featuring the bunny at some point, perhaps today, but it doesn't look like my vids are working at the moment; can you guys see them or do I need to find somewhere else to upload them for you? Let me know x

And a quick question. I have no idea why it's going wonky. There's the right amount of stitches and the tension is alright, so I don't really know what's happening. I might stick it on the ironing board later and pull it into the right shape. Suggestions would be fab!
